With a strong foundation in viticulture and wine education, I offer a refined, approachable path into the world of wine—designed to inspire and delight.
My journey into the world of wine began with a fascination for plants, a deep love of Constantia’s storied vineyards, and a healthy dose of determination. What started as a romantic notion quickly became a lifelong pursuit, fueled by the intricate interplay of science, nature, and artistry at the heart of every bottle.
I hold a PhD in Viticulture from Stellenbosch University, where I taught and conducted research on terroir in one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions. I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the Wine and Spirits Board demarcation committee, presenting at international conferences, and collaborating with French institutions—all while exploring both iconic and emerging winegrowing regions across the globe.
Now based in the Okanagan Valley, I bring a wealth of academic and practical expertise to curated wine experiences that are as educational as they are inspiring. Through guided tastings, my goal is to open the world of wine to you—revealing the remarkable alchemy of nature, culture, science, and craft that defines every glass.
